Hoegaarden is the original witbier created by Belgian monks in 1445. The beer has a rich identity. But the brand did not. To help, we launched their online presence with a ton of assets, a new point of view, and a fool proof guide for global regions to follow.
We gave them a new tone of voice, and over 100 photos, videos, and gifs to sustain their social presence for the year. Leading two shoots in Belgium and two in New York, we covered their heritage, the brewery, food pairings, and artistic interpretations that combined them all for a variety that would side step content fatigue.
Our “Handmade Theatre” series drew inspiration from the paper theaters of early 19th century Europe, when Hoegaarden was really taking flight. Working closely with paper artist Helen Musselwhite, we created 9 pieces that each tell a unique story about the town, the ingredients, or the places that our drinker can take Hoegaarden along with them.
To capture the spirit of the village of Hoegaarden, we created a serene series highlighting the sounds of the town as the namesake beer was being enjoyed there.
